Chapter and clergy
Our governing body, Chapter, work as a team led by the Dean to agree strategy, foster strong community links, build excellent worship and welcome activities, and ensure we have sound buildings and finances.
As well as Canons who are members of the clergy, Chapter includes three Lay Canons who contribute specific areas of expertise. It is also supported by other clergy with specialist skills and roles.

As a member of the Bishop of Winchester’s staff, he represents the Cathedral in the Diocese and the county of Hampshire. He is also a member of the Cathedrals’ Fabric Commission for England.
