In a first for Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market, the inner close tree is lit using renewable energy generated from solar panels, thanks to sponsorship from Paris Smith.

As with many historic cities, parking within the centre is limited and often congested during the Christmas period. Where possible we strongly advise people to make use of these facilities.

A short walk from the station platform, head to Westgate at the top of the city, stroll down the high street or take the quieter streets with independent shops towards the cathedral outer close.
