How to get here
As with many historic cities, parking within the centre is limited and often congested during the Christmas period. Winchester has excellent rail links to London, Southampton, Basingstoke, Reading, the Midlands and beyond. Where possible we strongly advise people to make use of these facilities.

Travelling by bus

Travelling by car
If travelling by car is the only option, please make use of the Park and Ride car parks which are located around the outskirts of the city. Winchester City Council operates an excellent and frequent service to all locations, with drop off points located 2-3 minutes walk from the Cathedral.
