Tower Tours
For the older children seeking an exhilarating experience this half-term.
Enjoy a thrilling tower tour of Winchester Cathedral with magnificent views across Winchester and the county.
After climbing spiralling steps up onto the cathedral roof, you will see the ringing chamber, the great Cathedral bells and walk the full length of the nave roof with its huge wood beams.
Slots available for 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st May.
Those 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult.
Lunchtime Concerts
The benefits of exposing children to classical music has been widely researched. With claims of numerous benefits, including enhanced listening skills, improved memory, and emotional regulation, while also promoting cognitive development and fostering a love for music.
On Tuesday 27th May at 1.15pm, a lunchtime concert will take place in the Lady Chapel which you and your family would be most welcome to attend.
Eleanor Holmes will play the violin and Nick Salwey will play the piano. The particular programme of music will be Mozart Sonata in E minor K304 & Franck Violin Sonata.
Entry is included with an annual pass and seats are on a first come first served basis. This is a popular event so do arrive early to secure your seats.
