The State Funeral of Her Majesty The Queen will take place on Monday 19th September, 11am. This televised service will be available to watch inside the cathedral.

You are warmly welcomed to join with others inside the cathedral to watch the State Funeral of Her Majesty The Queen.

As well as the TV screens throughout the Nave of the cathedral, there will be a central large screen.

You are invited to take your seats from 9am, when live news from the BBC will be broadcast. At 11am, coverage of the State Funeral will begin.

We hope there will be an opportunity to join in with the hymns of the funeral service.

You are welcome to attend for the whole duration of the funeral, or for as long as you are able to. Please feel encouraged to join with others inside the cathedral, to feel a sense of community and to pay your own respects at this national time of mourning. Everyone is welcome. No booking is required.

Closing Act of Remembrance at 7.30pm
The day will end with a ‘Closing Act of Remembrance’ at 7.30pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend this 20 minute act as the day of Her Majesty’s State Funeral draws to a close.
