Immerse yourself in the splendour of live choral music whilst wandering through the majestic space of the cathedral.

Index Cantorum returns to give its 10th anniversary ‘pop-up performance’ of choral music, spanning several centuries, from Renaissance masterpieces to contemporary arrangements of familiar songs, to be enjoyed informally in the magnificent acoustic of Winchester Cathedral.

Hear music that was designed for cathedral buildings sung in-situ, in a relaxed setting.

Experience the performances as you walk by, or find a place to sit still and enjoy.

The programme includes:
• Tomás Luis de Victoria (1548 –1611) Salve regina
• Don Fernando de las Infantas (1534 – c1610) – Loquebantur variis linguis
• Orlando Gibbons (1583 –1625) – O clap your hands
• James MacMillan (b 1959) So Deep
• Traditional, arr RGC MS Williams Peter, go ring them bells

There will be two performances on Saturday 25th January, taking place at 12.30pm and 1.15pm (both lasting circa 20 minutes).

Entry is included with your annual pass, which can be purchased on the day or in advance online with a saving of £1pp.
