After careful consideration, the decision has been taken to close Curle’s Passage on 15th August from 9am – 4.30pm to allow for essential investigations by Cathedral masons.

Throughout the closure the Cathedral stonemasons will be assessing the historic stonework surrounding the windows following recommendations in the 2020 Cathedral fabric survey to maintain the integrity of the cathedral building.

There will be a diversion route in place through the cathedral for members of the public to access the city centre from the Inner Close.
