After careful consideration, the decision has been taken to close Curle’s Passage to allow essential conservation work to be carried out. From Monday 25th – Wednesday 27th April, Curle’s Passage will be closed from 9.00am – 4.30pm so that the Cathedral stonemasons can undertake essential investigation and repair work, following recommendations in the 2020 Cathedral fabric survey to maintain the integrity of the Cathedral building.
Members of the public will still be able to access the city centre from the Inner Close via the Watergate.
Members of the public will also still be able to access the Inner Close via the Water Gate entrance and via Symonds Street.
Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
