Volunteers' Week

From the 1st – 7th June, places across the UK celebrate Volunteers’ Week; an annual event recognising the countless hours given by volunteers up and down the country.

At Winchester Cathedral over 700 volunteers take on a huge variety of roles to support its mission. Visitors are welcomed by hospitable front-of-house volunteers and given tours by expert volunteer guides. Behind the scenes, volunteers help with everything from fundraising to dusting.

Meet a handful of these dedicated volunteers in this video and listen to their experience of volunteering at Winchester Cathedral.
