Volunteers' week takes place annually on the first week of June. This year, it is celebrated 3rd - 9th June.

Volunteers‘ Week is a celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering in their communities.

Volunteers enrich life at Winchester Cathedral in so many different ways. Simply, the Cathedral could not be run without them.

There are more than 700 volunteers across 50 volunteer teams at Winchester Cathedral. And so, to celebrate Volunteers’ Week this year, we have highlighted a handful of different volunteer groups each day, to showcase the diversity of work that goes on to keep the cathedral running smoothly.
