From interactive trails and circus performances to silent discos and VR experiences, there’s something for all ages to enjoy. Entry to the Whales exhibition is included with an annual pass, with children under 16 going free when accompanied by a paying adult.

15th – 23rd February half-term family fun programme:

  • Ocean Commotion Trail (22nd January – 26th February) – A free family trail included with your annual pass. Help six stranded sea creatures find their way home through fun challenges across the Cathedral.
  • Silent Disco Under the Whales (15th February, 7.00pm – 8.30pm) – Dance beneath the Whales with headsets and music for all generations.
  • The Whale! Circus Show (19th February, multiple showings) – A colourful puppet performance by Circo Rum Ba Ba, exploring marine conservation with humour and heart.
  • Antarctic Exploration VR Experience (15th February, 10.30am – 2.30pm) – Journey to the Antarctic aboard RSS Discovery in an immersive virtual reality adventure.

Visitors can also explore the Kings & Scribes multi-level interactive exhibition, enjoy refreshments at the Cathedral Café, and browse keepsakes at the Cathedral Gift Shop.
